This Le Dix bag from Spring/Sumer 2014 (H stamp) is a bit of a transition for the house of Balenciaga. “Le Dix”, means The 10 in French, which refers to the address of the original Balenciaga boutique in 10 Avenue George V, Paris. This stunning calfskin leather bag has a refined and sophisticated feminine shape that would pair well with casual attire or work wear. Gold and silvertone hardware are combined at the base of the inset top handle and the adjustable, removable leather strap. The interior flap top opens to reveal roomy interior.
The exterior leather is clean but has some scuffs, creasing, and light wear around the bottom edge. The handle is smooth and clean. The long strap is lightly creased. The hardware has hairline scratches but remains bright and crisp. The interior remains clean with gentle signs of use and scuffing on the leather.
